Pfizer
 In Dec 2007, Amunix entered into a three-year collaboration with Pfizer Inc. Amunix receives $6M in research support, plus milestones and royalties, to design ion channel therapeutics.
Versartis
 In December 2008, Amunix and Index Ventures entered into a 50/50-owned joint venture called Versartis, Inc. Versartis is focused on clinical development of therapeutic proteins for the treatment of metabolic diseases and endocrine disorders. Versartis is staffed with drug development experts and utilizes external contract services to execute its product development plans. Versartis has licensed the rights to three products (VRS-826, VRS-859, and VRS-317) from Amunix. These products were created at Amunix and use Amunix’ XTEN half-life extension technology . Dr. Jeffrey Cleland is the CEO and founder, and the other founders are Mark de Boer, Willem Stemmer, Volker Schellenberger and Joshua Silverman. Versartis is funded by Index Ventures (Geneva, Switzerland).
